British Airways has completed the final phase of its lounge refresh at London Heathrow Terminal 5B.
New features include a food station with seasonal menu options, a redesigned deli area, new bespoke furniture and a quiet zone. There’s also a Whispering Angel rosé bar, which debuted earlier this year in July.
The move follows the recent refurbishment of the carrier’s First and Club (business class) lounges at London Heathrow Terminal 3, as well as its First lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 5.
New furniture was also added to its Concorde Room and Arrivals lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 5. Day beds will also be added its Concorde Room “later this year”.
British Airways chief customer officer Calum Laming, said: “We know that the airport experience is an important part of the journey for our customers, especially our premium customers, and we’re always listening to their feedback.”
The carrier also recently announced forthcoming improvements to its Edinburgh lounge, due “in the coming months”, and its Seattle lounge next year.
BA customers travelling in first and business class (Club World and Club Europe), as well as Silver or Gold Executive Club members can access the carrier’s Club lounges. Sapphire or Emerald members of oneworld partner frequent flyer programmes are also eligible.
