FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Moose FM and North Peace Savings teamed up to celebrate five small businesses in Fort St. John this week.

From October 3rd to 15th, community members nominated their favourite small and local businesses for North Peace Saving’s Small Business Week 2023. Those selected won a Red Barn Café & Catering tray and a flower bouquet made by the Flower Hut and from North Peace Savings.

Each business chosen had multiple nominations, and the winners were randomly selected before being visited by the Moose FM crew each day this week.

On Monday, Moose FM dropped by the North Peace Optometry Clinic, nominated for its community support, warm environment and excellent customer service.

The following day, they visited Shattered Images Hair Removal Clinic, which was recognized for how kind, supportive and professional the team is.

Peace Gallery North received recognition on Wednesday for showcasing local art as well as its kind, encouraging and supportive staff.

On Thursday, Moose FM stopped by The Canadian Grind for having the “best London Fogs in this and other cities I have visited from here to Calgary,” great staff and reasonable prices.

Rounding off the work week, Moose FM visited Vive Studio, nominated for its friendly staff, gorgeous space and community support.

October 15th to 21st was declared Small Business Week in Fort St. John during a council meeting earlier this month.
