KLM will roll out its updated business and new premium economy offerings on more routes this winter season, the carrier announced this week.

The Dutch carrier first introduced its Premium Comfort seats last May, while its World Business Class seats were updated in June for its Boeing 777 fleet.

KLM confirmed that all Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 aircraft now feature Premium Comfort cabins, while its entire B777-300 fleet will be reconfigured this winter to feature both Premium Comfort and World Business Class.

The Premium Comfort seat, which offers more legroom than a standard economy seat, as well as a larger entertainment screen and a footrest, will be available on “most” transatlantic routes to the US this winter, the carrier confirmed on its website.

Its B777-200 fleet will also be gradually retrofitted to include the new cabins.

The carrier will serve 157 destinations during the upcoming winter season, including 65 intercontinental destinations and 92 in Europe.

KLM will also add a new three-times-daily service from Amsterdam to Marseille from 29 October and will increase Washington frequencies to a daily service.
