Ηeavy cranial injuries led to the untimely death of 29 year old referee Panos Theodorou who was crushed by a forklift he was operating outside a family business in the Ayios Silas area of Limassol.
Cause of death was established by a post mortem early this afternoon.
Theodorou was found by his brother who attempted to free him from under the heavy machine by using another forklift.
The circumstances which led to the accident are under investigation by police and the labour inspection department.
