KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has appointed Mohamed Rastam Shahrom as acting group chief executive officer (CEO) effective Oct 25.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MAHB said Datuk Seri Iskandar Mizal Mahmood’s tenure as managing director will expire on Oct 24.

MAHB said its board of directors agreed that Mohamed Rastam, who is currently the group chief financial officer will assume the role of acting group CEO.

Mohamed Rastam holds a BSc (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
