Mitsubishi HC Capital UK Plc has announced that Gert Veenstra will step down as CEO of MHC Mobility Netherlands from 31 December 2023. Paul van der Meulen will take on the role of Regional Managing Director for the Netherlands and Benelux and join the MHC Mobility Board, effective 2 October 2023.
Gert has worked in the automotive industry for over thirty years, where he built the Noordlease business as co-owner before its sale to Hitachi Capital in 2017. He then became Chief Executive of the Netherlands and Benelux region. He will continue in a supporting role as Advisor to the Board until 31st March 2024.

Paul van der Meulen, who is a Chartered Accountant, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. He joined MHC Mobility Netherlands in December 2019 and has an extensive background in finance, including senior roles at large multinational corporations such as Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe B.V.
Strengthening the talent pool in leasing and mobility
In addition to the announcement concerning Gert and Paul, the company also stated that Mark Feddes will assume the role of Operations Director for the Netherlands and Benelux region and join the MHC Mobility Holding Board effective 2 October 2023. Mark brings over 21 years of experience within the Dutch leasing and mobility group.
With these two appointments, the Managing Board of Directors of MHC Mobility B.V will be completed with Thijs Frederiks as Sales Director and Kristof de Backer as the Director responsible for Belgium.
