…Siju Iluyomade To Erect Multipurpose International Women’s Centre
Preparation is being perfected for the 15th Arise Women (AW) Conference, a non-governmental Organisation annual event championed by Dr Siju Iluyomade. The momentum is being felt locally and internationally.
One of the major highlights of this year’s edition which is tagged #stepup is the official beginning of construction of Arise Women International Centre. This building, according to the information at our disposal, is a multipurpose structure that will have Conference, Vocational & Skills Acquisitions and Empowerment Academy Centres.
The building will also have a women’s hospital as well as a hotel and resort. The commencement of the building is in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the Arise Women initiative.
The yearly event has continued to receive credence for its impactful gestures, in national development across all sectors of the economy. The 2023 edition would be featuring more eventful, exciting and educating lined up series to spark up programmes.
The initiative has always been experienced by thousands of individuals including prominent Nigerians, both home and abroad. Notable personalities in business, politics, entertainment and also the vineyard of the Lord regardless of faith or ethnicity, have also witnessed tremendous humanitarian activities during the event.
Main activities lined up for this season will begin with Arise Walk For Life on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The Arise Golf Tournament would be held at the prestigious Ikoyi Club on Friday, October 20 while the Arise Football novelty match would take place the following day at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos Island.
The Arise Women Conference which will witness thousands of individuals across the country will be held at the Trinity Towers and four other event centres simultaneously along COD road, DideoluEstate,Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to the organisers, no fewer than 5000 participants, less privileged, will get the Arise Food Basket. Also, farmers will be encouraged with fertiliser seedlings as a form of empowerment.
