Canada-based Aduro Clean Technologies, a patented water-based technology developer that converts waste plastics, heavy bitumen, and renewable oils into valuable resources, announced that it has established its European subsidiary in Geleen, the Netherlands.
The company says it chose the Netherlands due to its strong regional relationships, including successful partnerships with Brightlands Chemelot Campus and Chemelot Innovation and Learning Labs.
Called Aduro Clean Technologies Europe (ACTE), it will focus on advancing the Hydrochemolytic process for plastics upcycling (“HPU”) within the European market with the primary goal of constructing a future demonstration unit at the Brightlands site.
“Establishing a European hub is a significant stride in our strategic journey,” says Ofer Vicus, CEO of Aduro.
