A new Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game trailer has been released, highlighting even more of the wacky and murderous Klowns that will appear in the game when it’s released in early 2023 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The latest trailer from Good Shepherd Entertainment shows off the different “classes” of Klowns that will appear in the game. These include the Trapster, Tracker, Scout, Fighter, and Tank, all of whom come with their own unique weapons, abilities, and playstyles. The Fighter, for example, comes paired with two boxing gloves, while the Tank is the biggest and meanest-looking Klown and comes equipped with a menacing gun on its right hand.

In a more thorough breakdown of the classes from the developer of the game, it’s noted that every Klown is equipped with a ray gun that can trap humans in candy cocoons, the ability to do a “Klown Jump,” as well as their own class-specific weapons.

The different types of Klowns will also have their own specific abilities, with the Tracker able to use the Popcorn Bazooka (which sticks to humans and reveals their locations) and summon the Balloon Dog to track people down. Meanwhile, the Trapster is able to use the Jawbreaker Mace to explode popcorn onto humans and summon the Baby Klown, a larvae-looking creature who can latch onto humans.

For the other classes, the Tank (who fans of the movie might recognize as “Chubby”) is extremely slow, but can deal a ton of damage thanks to his Extendable Jawbreaker ranged weapon. His abilities, Sticky Bash and Rage Rush, also allow him to close the gap between humans quickly and trap people in a huge carpet of cotton candy.

The Scout, on the other hand, is able to explore previously covered areas thanks to the Klown Jump abilitiy. Finally, the Fighter dons his boxing gloves to go after humans and fight people, thanks to his melee skills and agile movements.

The game itself is an asymmetrical multiplayer game that will pit seven humans against three Klowns in matches across randomly generated maps.
