2020 Delhi riots: Prosecution pulled up for not submitting evidence to identify accused
A court has pulled up the prosecution for not submitting a video pertaining to the identification of the accused in connection with the 2020 northeast Delhi riots case. Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Pulastya Pramachala, hearing a case, said it was “unfortunate” that the prosecution was “befooling” the court. He also warned the investigating agency not to repeat such conduct in future. The matter pertains to a case registered by the Dayalpur police station against Mohammed Farooq and others where the court had asked the prosecution to submit a video for identification of the accused.

Maharashtra: Three people dead and two injured in a fire that broke out in the Galaxy Hotel in the Santacruz area of Mumbai
A fire broke out at a five-storey hotel in Santacruz area of Mumbai on Sunday afternoon following which eight people were rescued from there and rushed to hospital, a fire official said. The blaze erupted on the second floor of the Galaxy Hotel located in Prabhat Colony, he said.”It is a level-one fire. All rescued people have been rushed to the Cooper Hospital,” the official said.Four fire engines, as many water tankers and other assistance were rushed to the spot, he said.Fire-fighting is underway, the official added.
