The above quotation aptly depicts my horrible condition, before l came to the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Ministry. I have committed so many atrocities, but today, God has given me a clean bill of health and crowned it with salvation.
My name is Precious Nwobodo. I worship at the Ikoyi branch of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Ministry. My testimony is about the salvation that God granted me on February 19, 2023, when I came here. It all started when l followed my uncle to a branch of the Lord’s Chosen one fateful Sunday. The branch church played a video message of our G.O and prior to that day, l was a big time drug addict for about 17 years. So, after that message, he made an altar call and l raised my hand, but while praying for us, to my greatest surprise, l began to shed tears. After service that day, we went home and the next day being Monday, we went to market for our normal business and l visit the joint to take the normal stuff. My addiction was so strong that I had to taste all manner of drugs. At this stage, Indian hemp no longer thrill me. But on that Monday, l took only Indian hemp and returning to my shop, I began to feel unwell; my head was as if it was going to erupt. It was as if l was going mad. I became so quite in the shop that people began to ask if all were well with me. I was just there internally struggling to be stable and asking God to show me mercy and deliver me. I told God that if He would deliver me that I will never take drugs again. I pleaded with God seriously and eventually He delivered me. Before God’s intervention, I was really in bondage of hard drugs, but today, God has shown me mercy and delivered me from it. P-r-a-i-s-e, thy Lord!
I led some people, including my younger brother into taking drugs and I pray, may God visit and deliver them in Jesus’ name, as He visited and delivered me …Amen!
Moreover, God delivered me from other vices such as chasing prostitutes, stealing, and engaging in cultic practices, among others. In fact, God has been so good to me and I praise His name in Jesus’ name…Amen!
Most of the drug addicts are normally taken to rehabilitation centres where their loved ones do pay huge sums of money to rehabilitate them and afterwards, they go become worse. But here I am, God has automatically done mine for free, may His name be glorified in Jesus’ name… Amen!
At this juncture, l advise the youths, please understand that there is no gain in drugs, as it leads to the destruction of life. Kindly, desist from it and God will bless and prepare you for eternal life in heaven.
I pray for our G.O, all the Chosen members worldwide, my family and all, may God empower us to make heaven hereafter in Jesus’ name …Amen!
