Serviced apartments group Cheval Collection has appointed Nikola Miljković as its new feasibility manager to help the group “accelerate” its expansion plans.
Cheval opened its first location outside the UK earlier this year when it unveiled Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai in April. The company plans further international growth through management contracts across its three brands.
Miljković joins Cheval Collection from hospitality consulting specialist HVS, where he was a senior associate. He has also worked at the Conrad St James hotel in London and for Croatian hotel group HUP Zagreb.
“It’s an exciting time to join Cheval Collection, with the launch of MY Locanda last year and growth in Europe and the Middle East and I am looking forward to working towards our ambitious goals,” he said.
“Serviced apartments have risen in prominence in recent years and investors are looking to us to help them diversify their portfolios. The economic environment is challenging, with high interest rates, but we are able to be creative and help get deals done.”
Daniel Johansson, director of development and acquisitions at Cheval Collection, added: “I look forward to drawing on his expertise as our pipeline builds. Our decades of experience in the serviced apartment sector mean that investors and developers are being drawn to our proven ability to deliver a high-quality product.”
