American Express Co. CFO Jeffrey Campbell will step down in August and be replaced by deputy CFO Christophe Le Caillec, the company announced Tuesday.
Le Caillec has been with Amex for more than 25 years, holding positions including business CFO for the company’s Global Consumer Services Group. As deputy CFO, Le Caillec leads the company’s corporate planning team and its risk, technology, and Global Services Group finance functions, according to Amex.
Campbell, who joined Amex in 2013, will retire, according to the company. He also holds the title of vice chairman and will remain in that role until March 2024. Upon Campbell’s Aug. 14 departure as CFO, Le Caillec will join American Express’ executive committee, according to the company.
