BUDAPEST: More than 500 buyers will attend Content Budapest (27 – 29 June 2023), alongside 200 commissioners and senior executives from channels, platforms and production companies across the region. The C21 event aims at stimulating the business in the region through a rich agenda including the Content Budapest Series Pitch 2023.
Fourteen projects, including projects from Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria and Hungary, will be pitched and the prize of 18,715 EUR consists of marketing to support development and pre-sales promotion of the show.
A two-day international coproduction conference will run alongside the market. The agenda includes keynotes from Warner Bros. Discovery’s Jamie Cooke, Global Agency’s Izzet Pinto, FILM.UA Group’s Victoria Yarmoshchuk and Paprika Studios’ Ákos Erdős, plus a series of commissioning sessions featuring buyers, channel bosses and commissioning executives from pan-regional streamers, public service broadcasters, commercial channels and local platforms including: AMC Networks International, A+E Networks UK, BluTV, PRO TV S.R.L., Pro Plus, TVP Polish Television, Czech TV, LTV, LRT, TVP+, Go3, Telekom Srbija, and CME Group.
One hundred leading executives from channels, platforms and producers from Central and Eastern Europe are taking part in an inaugural CEE100 initiative designed to showcase the best of Central and Eastern European creativity and uncover coproduction and finance opportunities from across the local and international market. The CEE100 will be published as a separate digital magazine on C21Media by the end of the year 2023
