Recently established technology buyout firm Nexa Equity has rounded up around $330 million to invest in the financial technology and software sectors amid a difficult fundraising market for newcomers.

The San Francisco-based fund manager, founded in 2021 by a veteran of one of the world’s largest technology investment firms, Insight Partners, has raised $180 million for Nexa Equity Fund I and $150 million for deal-specific co-investments, according to a statement seen by The Wall Street Journal.
