The company of Irish designer, Orla Kiely, has reported a profit before tax for 2023 of £1,075m, a 66% increase on the year before.
That was on the back of an increase in turnover at the retail brand of 42%, to £5m.
Of that, £3.3m came from product revenue, the bulk of which is made up of ecommerce business, driven in large part by the launch of a new website.
Growth was also helped by the launch of a new homewares range.
A further £1.6m of income came from royalties, with eight active licensees making and distributing products on wholesale markets that were designed by Orla Kiely.
The company also opened a new hub in the Netherlands during the period, to support online customers across the EU.
The strong performance comes five years after Kiely Rowan plc, the retail arm of the old Orla Kiely business, entered administration.
It was relaunched again the following year and since then has rebuilt itself.
The company is run by Orla Kiely along with her husband and business partner, Dermott Rowan.
Among those who have worn Orla Kiely designs are Catherine, Princess of Wales, Keira Knightley, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kirsten Dunst.
